Direct-injection engines (most modern Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW) build carbon on the intake valves that fuel additives can't reach. Without periodic decarbon, you lose power and economy gradually until a top-end clean costs five figures. Liqui Moly chemistry, done at the right intervals, prevents that.
